Ilya Leibman
These days, writing an authentic bio comes straight from the heart—so I’ll start by getting the formal stuff out of the way.
I’ve been working in treatment and coaching since 2016. I’m a certified alcohol and drug counselor, certified in wellness and fitness, trained in somatic therapy, and a general life coach through the Coaching Federation. Over the years, I’ve worked with government agencies focused on reducing recidivism, which has become one of my deepest passions.
My path here wasn’t easy. Through my own experiences with addiction, chaos, and time in prison, I came to understand something powerful: suffering is often what leads us to the light. It’s part of the human condition—we all face it in one form or another. An alchemist learns how to transform pain and struggle into something meaningful, even golden.
For a long time, fear was running the show in my life, and with it came a massive ego. Letting go of that ego isn’t easy—it’s something I still work with daily. I don’t believe it disappears overnight; it takes awareness, honesty, and lifetimes of unraveling. Transparency is where healing begins. Forgiving ourselves is where freedom starts. From there, compassion grows—first for ourselves, then for others.
My own transformation came through deep self-inquiry, breathwork, meditation, and expanded states of consciousness. I know firsthand that real change is possible. That transformation has been one of the greatest blessings of my life, and it’s something I feel called to share.
Everyone is on a different path, at a different stage of the journey. We all need guidance—mentors, advisors, coaches. I’ve been blessed with many, and I continue to learn every day. This work isn’t about one person; it’s about the collective. We sharpen one another. Iron sharpens iron.
This is a group effort. A shared journey. My hope is to serve as a catalyst for true transformation—for those ready to step into it.
All love.
Big hugs, beautiful people.
Blessings,
Ilya
